Home Visits

  • We prefer to see you in the surgery where we have better    facilities, diagnostic aids and lighting to assess you. If,  however you are too ill to attend then a request for a home visit should be made before 10.00am if possible.
  • When requesting a home visit please give a brief explanation of your problem and your telephone number to the receptionist as it will help the Doctor to assess the urgency of the situation.
  • The Doctor may contact you to discuss a home visit or other appropriate medical treatment.
  • The Doctor can usually see five patients at the practice in the time it takes to do one home visit. Please help us by only requesting a home visit if it is really necessary.
