Run by the nurses for our asthmatic patients.

All new babies are invited for regular check-ups from eight weeks old with the Nurses on Thursdays.

Cryotherapy
Run by the Doctors on Fridays to treat a variety of skin lesions    including warts and verrucae.

Diabetic
Run jointly by the Doctors and Nurses for our diabetic patients.

Family Planning, Sexual Health and Preconception
Run by the Doctors and Nurses to give advice and prescribe most forms of contraception.

Hearing
Run by the Nurses to check different aspects of hearing in children and adults.

Holiday Travel Immunisation
Run by the Nurses who give advice and arrange the appropriate travel immunisation programme. There is a charge for some         immunisations.  Please either ask at reception or pick up a           vaccination price list.

Hypertension & Heart Disease
Run by Doctors and Nurses to screen and monitor patients with high blood pressure and heart problems.

Minor Surgery
The Doctors carry out a wide range of minor surgical procedures which are usually carried out under local anaesthetic.

Smoking Cessation

Amwell Street Surgery is keen to encourage and support
patients who want to give up smoking. If you would like help
to give up smoking please make an appointment to see one of
our Doctors who will discuss the services available to help you

Well Man/Well Woman
Run by the Nurses for men who are encouraged to see the nurse every 3 years for blood pressure, weight and urine checks and women who are encouraged to have cervical smears, blood pressure, weight, breast awareness and urine checks.

Yellow Fever
The surgery is an authorised yellow fever vaccination centre and these vaccinations are given by the Nurses.
